"Thank you so much to SICEWT, UK for the generous support to provide digital education facilities to the slum school, Guntur, India. With your support we were equipped with two latest version computers, one LED Television and one public speaking system facilities to our slum school to provide the best education with best learning opportunity to the 150 slum children. Now our teachers are effectively teaching primary education with the latest updated clear understanding methods to all the children with the support of digital education with internet facility. Daily school attendance of the children is increasing and children’s learning capacities are also improving. Thank you SICEWT".
We have since provided additional support to give the poor and needy children free education, free lunch. We have funded the running cost of one school The running cost including teachers’ salaries, books for the students, day to day stationary expenditure, electric power bill etc. Our grant has made a great difference in the lives of the students, removing barriers to education and allowing the students to focus on their studies by having books, note books, etc., helping to break the cycle of poverty.
