The Bharath Abhyudaya Seva Samithi (BASS)
We have supported BASS in a variety of ways, principally in two centres.
At the Mamre Orphanage for Girls we installed Borewell to provide an abundant supply of clean fresh water for the resident teenage girls. We also funded three high achieving young ladies to study and obtain an Accountancy qualification, giving them better prospects of work.
Elsewhere, we have supported BASS to provide day care for migrant mothers working in the seasonal chilli industry
as well as supporting children in the day centres BASS provide for local resident children.
